1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Miaomiao Travel Accounting mobile app and its related feature pages. It explains how information is handled when you use local bookkeeping, shared ledgers, online sync, account feature previews and feedback.
2. Information we handle
Local ledger data includes ledger names, expense amounts, currencies, member names, categories, notes, packing lists and statistics. It is stored primarily on your device by default.
Ledger data is sent to the server only when you choose to enable online sharing, upload a ledger, join a shared ledger or sync, to support collaboration and recovery across devices.
If you email us, we use the address, nickname, description and attachments you provide to respond and investigate.
The current app includes account screens reserved for future phone, WeChat and QQ integration. Depending on the feature you actively use, account information may include a phone number, nickname, avatar or platform identifier. An unconnected third-party sign-in button does not automatically obtain platform information.
Necessary diagnostic logs, crash information, app version and basic device environment information may be used to investigate faults and improve stability, not for unrelated commercial purposes.
3. How information is used
Information supports displaying and saving ledgers, expenses, members, statistics and shared records; sharing, sync, conflict handling and recovery that you initiate; responding to support requests; and protecting service security.
Account, membership and payment flows are reserved for future integration and are not activated without your action and authorization.
4. Our approach
We limit processing to what the relevant feature needs. Except for basic local saving, sharing, sync, account sign-in and feedback are initiated by you. The policy, terms and permission information are available in the app’s Settings.
5. Storage and sync
Local data is stored on your device. Data is sent to the cloud only when you choose to enable cloud sync, upload, join a shared ledger or restore cloud content.
Turning off sync, deleting a shared ledger or clearing local data takes effect according to the action performed. Copies already saved or uploaded again by other members do not necessarily disappear when you delete your own copy.
6. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your personal information to unrelated third parties. Shared ledger information is visible to members you invite or authorize when you use online sharing. Disclosures required by law, regulators or dispute resolution are handled within applicable legal requirements.
7. Device capabilities
The app uses network access for sharing, syncing, joining ledgers and checking service availability; clipboard and system sharing for invitations and exports; and local storage for ledgers, cached images and offline backups.
If phone verification, WeChat, QQ or payment services are integrated later, the policy will be updated and presented for confirmation in the relevant release.
8. Reserved sign-in features
When an operational phone sign-in feature is used, the phone number, verification code and nickname support identification and account binding. WeChat and QQ buttons are currently reserved product flows. Platform information is returned only after an integrated version is used and you authorize it.
Future SDK integrations will be accompanied by the SDK name, processing purpose, method and privacy-policy link.
9. Membership and payments
The current app has pages showing plans and future activation flows. Payment details and this policy will be updated if WeChat Pay, Alipay, Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing is integrated. Before live payment integration, local test activation and redemption flows are product tests and do not represent a real charge.
10. Your choices and rights
You can review these terms, edit or delete local ledgers, disable cloud sync, clear local data, and contact us to request access, correction, deletion, account closure or to raise a complaint. See the Data deletion page for practical steps.
11. Children
If you are under 14, read this policy and decide whether to use the app with a parent or guardian. Guardians should help children understand it and contact us where needed.
12. Changes
We may update the policy when features, processing, third-party integrations or legal requirements change. Significant changes are brought to your attention through the app’s initial consent screen, Settings or similar notices.
