Data deletion & account closure

Miaomiao Travel Accounting · Developer Yujia. Clear local records or contact us about cloud and account-related data.

1. Delete data on your device

Export any ledger you want to keep first. In the app, open Settings, choose Clear all data and confirm. This removes records on that device, so check your backup before proceeding.

Exported backup files may remain separately on your device; delete them using your file manager if required. Signing out clears the current local sign-in state; it is not a request to delete cloud data.

2. Request cloud or account data deletion

If you have used online sharing or sync, or wish to delete account-related data or close an account, email Yujia with the subject Miaomiao data deletion request.

Describe what you want deleted and provide an account identifier, ledger name and approximate period of use to help identify the records. Do not send passwords, verification codes or shared passphrases. We will reply to verify your authority over the data and explain what can be deleted, any records that must be retained, the reason and the processing status.

This page does not perform automatic deletion. The link below opens an email draft; the request is submitted only when you send it.

3. Shared copies and retention

Deleting a local ledger does not automatically delete server data or copies other members have saved or exported. Disabling sync does not delete previously uploaded data.

Your request may cover relevant ledger records, account details and contact information controlled by the developer. Copies held independently by other members are outside the developer’s direct control. If records must be retained for legal, security or dispute-handling reasons, the response will identify the scope and applicable retention arrangements. We do not promise immediate erasure of every copy.

4. Current account features

Some sign-in screens in the current app are local or reserved flows. Whether a cloud account and associated data exist depends on your version and the features you used. Email support can help identify and process the relevant request; a local sign-out is not treated as cloud account deletion.
